Label Machine Operator

Night Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM
Pay: $23.00–$25.00/hour + $3.50 night differential = $26.50–$28.50/hour
Position Overview
Iconex is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to safely operate and maintain high-speed label manufacturing equipment. This is not an entry-level position. Candidates should have at least 2 years of industrial manufacturing equipment experience, preferably in printing, labels, packaging, converting, paper, plastics, or similar environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, adjust, and troubleshoot label manufacturing equipment.
- Perform machine changeovers and adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
- Inspect products using calipers, rulers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
- Perform minor mechanical adjustments and preventative maintenance.
- Monitor inks, adhesives, coatings, and raw materials.
- Identify and correct quality issues during production.
- Record production, downtime, and quality information using computer systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow 6S standards.
- Work closely with Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams.
- Follow all safety procedures and identify potential hazards.
Requirements
- 2+ years of industrial manufacturing machine operation experience.
- Experience troubleshooting and adjusting production equipment.
- Ability to read work instructions and production specifications.
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, rulers, or gauges.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to stand for an entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attendance, reliability, and attention to quality.
Preferred: Experience with printing, labels, flexible packaging, paper, plastics, converting, laminating, slitting, extrusion, press operation, roll-to-roll, or other high-speed automated equipment.
