Logistics Billing Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Logistics Billing Clerk to join our team at Elite Fuels Transportation Inc. This position is perfect for someone eager to learn, maintain accurate records, and support the day-to-day operations of our fast-paced fuel transportation business.

Qualifications:

• 2 yrs+ billing in a Transportation and Logistics environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Familiarity with freight documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs) and Proofs of Delivery (PODs).
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and ability to reconcile invoices and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Good organizational and communication skills
• QuickBooks experiencestrongly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Process and enter fuel transportation billing data accurately and on time.
• Verify delivery tickets, bills of lading (BOLs), and shipment documentation.
• Generate and process customer invoices based on completed deliveries.
• Audit freight charges, fuel surcharges, and billing rates for accuracy.
• Reconcile invoices with contracts, delivery records, and supporting documentation.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies with customers, drivers, carriers, and dispatch.
• Maintain organized billing records and ensure data accuracy.
• Assist with month-end billing close, reporting, and account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable transportation regulations.
• Collaborate with operations, dispatch, accounting, and customer service teams to support efficient billing processes.

Schedule:Sat-Wed1:00 AM - 9:30 AM. Days off are Thurs/Fri.

During training, schedule will be Mon–Fri with a 6:00 AM start time.

Overtime may be required based on company needs. Schedules may change depending on operational requirements. Must be flexible and available to work weekends when needed.
