The Quality Engineering organization partners closely with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and operations to ensure products and production processes consistently meet demanding automotive quality standards.

What’s In Store For You

  • Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)
  • Onsite opportunity in Bloomfield, Connecticut.
  • Monday through Friday schedule, typically 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  • Opportunity to work hands-on with automotive quality systems, manufacturing processes, measurement systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Exposure to cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams in a highly technical production environment.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Develop and maintain quality and reliability standards supporting manufacturing and product performance.
  • Apply PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, and FMEA methodologies to evaluate and improve product and process quality.
  • Develop sampling procedures and methods for collecting, analyzing, documenting, and reporting quality and reliability data.
  • Evaluate the precision and accuracy of manufacturing, testing, measurement, and analytical equipment.
  • Analyze production and quality issues, identify root causes, and support effective corrective actions.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, schematics, and technical reports to confirm product conformance.
  • Support quality-control activities across areas such as incoming materials, manufacturing processes, product evaluation, reliability, metrology, and testing.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and constructive feedback to employees involved in quality inspection and testing.

Do you bring proven success in automotive quality engineering and core tools?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
  • Approximately 5–7 years of relevant quality or manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of automotive PPAP requirements.
  • Hands-on knowledge of APQP, MSA, SPC, and FMEA.
  • Understanding of AIAG Core Tools and IATF quality requirements.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and structured problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Experience using Minitab for quality or statistical analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • CAD or other engineering-related software experience is beneficial.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams.
  • Detail-oriented team player capable of exercising independent judgment while working within broader engineering direction.
  • Basic leadership or mentoring capabilities to provide technical support and constructive feedback.
