Position: Data Entry Clerk

Full-Time: 40 Hours

Location: Dallas, TX

Contract: ASAP Start – 11/8/2027 (Potential Extension/Temp to Perm)

Schedule: Friday – Tuesday, 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM (Overnight Availability Required)

Pay Range: $18.32/HR, Paid Weekly

Position Summary:

Interview Process:The interview will take place during the overnight shift hours, as these are the hours that will be worked.

Candidates must include the following on their resume:

• Dallas, TX as their location
• WPM results – minimum 40 WPM
• 10-key results/speed

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of data entry experience
• Typing speed of 40–50 WPM
• 10-key by touch
• Excellent and reliable attendance
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM; test results must be listed on the resume
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and speak English
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain speed and accuracy while managing heavy workloads and deadlines
• Proficiency with complex data entry concepts
• Ability to independently navigate systems, understand complex instructions, and make appropriate decisions
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Skype for Business

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with healthcare terminology
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new concepts and processes
• Ability to self-learn and follow client-provided instructions
• General knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 coding, and modifier usage
• Understanding of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
• Understanding of HIPAA guidelines

Working Conditions:

• May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.
• The ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Use of computers and technology.
