GoodWorks Unlimited is hiring an Executive Director in Georgetown, KY at our Windsor Gardens community. We are looking for someone with a strong background in Assisted Living and Memory Care preferably as an Executive Director. Holding a nursing, LNHA or social services degree is preferred but not required. Marketing experience would be an asset.

Visible, approachable leadership -Regularly walks the building, checks in on every shift, and listens to residents, families, and staff.

Strong dementia care knowledge -Understands how dementia affects communication and behavior, recognizes unmet needs, and supports individualized routines and meaningful activities.
4.
Accountability and follow-through -Sets clear expectations, addresses problems promptly, and makes sure concerns are resolved.
5.
Sound Judgement -Recognizes when a resident's needs have changed, involves the appropriate clinical professionals, and makes calm decisions during emergencies
6.
Regulatory Awareness -Understands the requirements that apply to the building and Kentucky regulations for licensure and turns them into consistent daily practices.
7.
Staff Development Skills -Hires thoughtfully, coaches department leaders, recognizes good work, and addresses poor performance fairly.
8.
Clear, honest communication -Keeps families informed, handles difficult conversations respectfully, and communicates concerns before they become surprises.
9.
Operational and financial discipline -Manages staffing, budgets, occupancy, and maintenance while protecting resident care and service quality.
10.
Integrity -Reports concerns honestly, welcomes feedback, and makes ethical decisions even when they are inconvenient.
11.
Attention to Detail -Notices changes in resident appearance, cleanliness, dining, documentation, and staff interactions”and acts on them.
12.
Ownership and Teamwork -Takes responsibility for the whole community and works closely with nursing and department leaders.
The Executive Director reports directly to the Regional Director of Operations. At Goodworks Unlimited, we strive to provide all the necessary support to make our Directors successful. We hold ED meetings twice a year to provide updated information, support in any way needed and bring everyone together to network with each other for best practices.
