Typical Duties

  • Actively supports the Company’s commitment to safety and its “Core Values.”

  • Mayoperatemachinery.
  • Help with the lifting,positioningand removal of fabricated pieces from machines toassistwith welding and fitting.
  • Loading,stackingand transporting materials, tools and fabricated pieces by hand or using equipment such as forklifts.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for fabrication, welding, painting, or shipping.
  • Perform basic maintenance on equipment and report any irregularities
  • Keepthework area clean and organized tomaintaina safe working environment.
  • Identifysafety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
  • Perform other duties asrequiredor assigned.

Skills, Knowledge,Qualifications& Experience

  • Previousexperience and/or training in a fabrication or machine shop environment isrequired.
  • Ability tooperatetools and equipment applicable to position.
  • Working knowledge of basichand tools.
  • Ability to communicate well with others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to obtain andmaintainan active status withincompanydesignateddrug consortium.
  • Regular and reliable attendance isrequiredin this role.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
  • Finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination and ability tomaintainbalance.
  • Mustbe able to climb ladders.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
  • Use of hand tools such as hammers,knivesor wrenches.
  • Visual ability to include color vision and depth perception.
  • Work may include pushing, pulling,liftingor carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds, such as raw or fabricated material,equipmentor tools.
  • Identifysafety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards
  • Perform all duties while wearing protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety-toed boots, hard hat, and gloves
  • Work involves standing and/or walking for extended periods of time, up to a minimum of 8 hours per day.
  • Mustbe able to perform tasks in hot and cold temperatures. May requireworkinga rotational schedule, including evening ornightsshifts.
  • Must be able to obtain andmaintainan active status withincompanydesignateddrug consortium.
