Position Details

  • Hours:6:45 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
  • Pay Rate:$22.47 per hour
  • Project Length:One day
Job Responsibilities
  • Help ensure the ACT test administration runs smoothly and according to established procedures.
  • Monitor the testing room and maintain a quiet, orderly environment.
  • Confirm that examinees follow testing instructions.
  • Monitor for unauthorized use of cell phones, electronic devices, notes, or other methods of cheating.
  • Assist with distributing and collecting testing materials.
  • Report irregularities or concerns to the appropriate test supervisor.
  • Protect the confidentiality and security of all testing materials.
Requirements
  • Must be able to stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Highly attentive to detail.
  • Comfortable monitoring a group in a quiet testing environment.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Professional, responsible, and comfortable enforcing testing rules.
  • Prior proctoring, testing, education, security, or customer-service experience is helpful but not required.

Important:This role requires arriving on time and remaining alert throughout the entire testing session. Cell phone and electronic-device restrictions will apply while monitoring the exam.
