Delivery Driver/Packer: Machesney Park, Illinois
Our customer in Machesney Park,Illinois,is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Delivery Driver/Packers to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Delivery Driver/Packer, you will be responsible for safely delivering products while supporting warehouse operations including packing, inventory, and order fulfillment.
Responsibilities of theDelivery Driver/Packer:
- Deliver products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
- Pack, prepare, and stage orders for delivery or shipment.
- Assist with warehouse operations including inventory picking and organization.
- Utilize weigh count scales and maintain accurate counts of inventory.
- Perform cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Follow all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
- Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed.
Delivery Driver/PackerRequirements and Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License with excellent driving record.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Good people and customer service skills.
- General knowledge of computers.
- Understanding of warehouse operations, inventory picking, and weigh count scales.
- Ability to consistentlylift upto 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform cycle counts andunderstandthe importance of inventory accuracy.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to complete additional duties as requested.
Pay forDelivery Driver/Packer:Starting at $18-19/hour.
