Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Auto Mechanic interested in training to become a pump mechanic on our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. The Mechanic will work at a bench and will be required to be on their feet the majority of the day. Pump or engine repair experience is required. Collaborating with other team members to maintain high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities of the Mechanic include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of pumps and equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools, including an Ohmmeter, to identify problems accurately.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and safely.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop solutions for mechanical challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Qualifications of the Mechanic include, but are not limited to:
  • Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools, including Ohmmeters, is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management.

  • Shift Time/Overtime:Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Overtime and weekend work may be required.
