Fenner Precision Polymershas an exciting internship opportunity with theMaintenance Team at several locations.
As part of the Maintenance Team, you will:
- Perform scheduled maintenance activities on all processing equipment.
- Diagnose and repair equipment failures.
- Determine material required for necessary repairs.
- Utilize skills and knowledge in performance of daily repairs (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic of processing equipment).
- Follow all procedures such as lockout/tagout and safety procedures.
- Complete all jobs in and orderly manner.
- Wear the required PPE at all times
- Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion and keep equipment in proper working condition.
- Shadow machine maintenance and facilities maintenance at different plants.
- Troubleshoot issues with production equipment though the PLC programs.
Core Competencies Required
- Technical skills are the foundation of maintenance competency.
- Problem-solving, communication, time management and teamwork.
Education and/or Relative Experience:
- One year completed at a technical college or one year completed at a CTC/vocational school.
- Must have mechanical and electrical skills.
- Nice to have PLC and drives experience
