Synergize is hiring an Entry-Level Event Manager to support live events, nonprofit campaigns, community outreach, and face-to-face customer engagement throughout the Sacramento area.
This is an entry-level opportunity for motivated individuals who want to gain hands-on experience in event marketing, nonprofit outreach, fundraising, customer engagement, and team leadership.
No previous event management experience is required. Paid training and hands-on coaching are provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and execution of live community events
- Represent nonprofit organizations at events and promotional locations
- Engage with the public and provide information about campaigns
- Support event registration, information booths, and outreach activities
- Help maintain an organized and professional event environment
- Communicate with team members to support daily event goals
- Assist with training and mentoring new team members as experience develops
- Participate in team meetings, coaching, and professional development
- Track event activity and provide feedback to campaign leadership

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Team-oriented and goal-focused
- Previous experience in events, customer service, retail, hospitality, restaurant, sales, fundraising, or marketing is helpful but not required
