Whatwe'relooking for:

NextGen Security is seeking aCAD Designerto join ourfast growingand dynamic team.

Whatyou'llbe doing:

This individual willwork closely with the CADSupervisor, Engineers, Account Managers, andProject Managers tocreate detailed drawing packages for various clients, assembleproject documentation,handle in-house permitting activities for theDallas-area,and provide support to other various offices throughout the region.This individualwill focus strictly on 2D design drawings using AutoCAD but may need to work with SOLIDWORKS on custom 3D printing projects as required. This position will be based in the Dallas office, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM.

What you bring to the table:

• Associate's Degreeorequivalent Certificate in Drafting & Design(or2 yearsequivalent work experience).

• Proficient in AutoCAD 2018or higher(knowledge of AutoCAD Dynamic Scales & Blocks is a plus).

• Proficient in creating and editing 2D technical drawings.

• ExperiencewithSOLIDWORKS or other 3D printing softwareisa plus but notrequired.

• Experience with Floor Plans, RiserDiagrams& WiringSchematics.

• Ability to work independently& productivelywith minimal supervision.

• Ability to support multiple projects& meetmultiple deadlines.

• Abilitytocollaborate&communicateefficientlywithalloffices intheregion.

• Ability to use andmaintaina plotter.

• Ability to performoccasionalduties in the field (Field Surveys, Project Meetings).

• Abilitytowork&understandInternationalCodesfor permittingundervariousjurisdictions.

• Ability to work Overtime whenrequired.

• Experience withWindows 10Operating Systems.

• Experience with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio).
