BRAKE PRESS OPERATOR NEEDED - RAPIDLY GROWING FACILITY
Join our team as a Brake Press Operator at our rapidly growing sheet metal facility in Mentor! Work on 1st shift, Monday-Friday from 7am-3:30pm. Pay starts at $18-$20/hr based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Operate and set up brake press machines to bend and form sheet metal based on blueprints, drawings, or work orders.
Select appropriate tooling and dies for desired angles, dimensions, and shapes.
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of brake press equipment.
Monitor production process to maintain quality standards and make adjustments as needed.
Collaborate with team members to handle workflow efficiently and meet production targets.
Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.
Adhere to safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the bending and forming process.
Complete relevant documentation and paperwork.
Qualifications:
Prior experience operating brake press machines and working with sheet metal.
Familiarity with blueprints, technical drawings, and measurements.
Ability to interpret work orders and follow instructions accurately.
Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Willingness to work on the 1st shift and adapt to changing production demands.
