Known for our house-made food, baked goods, and the city’s best coffee and tea, we take pride in serving our customers with quality and care. As a Cook at State + Jones, you’ll play a key role in delivering the exceptional dining experience our customers have come to expect. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast and lunch dishes with precision and care.
• Ensuring all food is made to our high-quality standards and served in a timely manner.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service.
• Assisting with inventory management and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.

We’re seeking a talented individual who brings skill and enthusiasm to the kitchen. To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• At least 1 year of cooking experience in a professional kitchen.
• A ServSafe Certification as a food handler or food service manager.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices.
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
