The new SpringHill by Marriott Bettendorf is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team! We would love for you to be a part of our exciting SpringHill by Marriott.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, plan, and assign work for employees.
- Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve employee performance.
- Oversees that staff is trained and observing all safety and security procedures.
- Assists manager in preventative maintenance programs for guest rooms and public areas.
- Responds to guest complaints, special requests and takes action to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Inspects guest rooms/suites, linen rooms, and public areas to assure that the property's standards of housekeeping and cleanliness are maintained by employees to meet guest satisfaction.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 1+ years supervising a department of seven or more employees.
- Prior housekeeping and laundry experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
