Project Manager

Overview

Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead customer automation projects from kickoff through installation, commissioning, and final acceptance. This role is responsible for managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and customer communication while coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

• Manage projects from turnover through completion, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality targets are met.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, finance, installation, and commissioning teams.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and project documentation.
• Track project financials, including budgets, forecasts, costs, and change orders.
• Lead customer communication, project reviews, risk management, and issue resolution.
• Support installation, commissioning, site acceptance, and project closeout activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of project management, project engineering, or related experience.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, forecasts, risks, and customer-facing communications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, project management software, and Microsoft Office.

• Industrial automation, manufacturing, capital equipment, or customer project environments.
• Leading complex projects involving multiple internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lisle, IL.

The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $62.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
