We are seeking a talented Mid-Level Architect / Project Architect to support the design and technical delivery of complex embassy campus projects around the world. This position offers an excellent opportunity to take on greater project ownership while serving as a key connection between junior team members and senior project leadership. The ideal candidate enjoys both design and technical problem-solving and is interested in expanding their leadership experience while contributing to high-profile international and government projects.
You will play an important role in project development by supporting schematic design efforts, producing and coordinating construction documentation, collaborating with consultants, and helping mentor less experienced staff.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & DocumentationThis position offers a collaborative and team-oriented environment that emphasizes professional development, mentorship, and meaningful project involvement. The firm operates from a newly renovated office and supports a flexible hybrid schedule, typically requiring team members to be in the office two to four days per week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, DC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
