Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and promotion of each individual’s business and/or vocational goals.
- Coordinate tasks/jobs within incubator space and/or community sites.
- Ensure high quality of production of goods and services.
- Assist individuals in reaching their IPOS goals, specifically with regard to their micro-enterprise business.
- Ensure supplies are properly secured for each job.
- Work on production, when necessary.
- Coach and promote personal growth for each individual to reach quality standards.
_______________________________________________________Education and Experience:- High school diploma required with a preference toward those with an Associate’s Degree.
- At least one year of experience working with people who have disabilities.
- Previous production and/or training experience of at least two years highly desirable.
- Must have computer skills and be able to type a minimum of 30 words per minute.
- Experience in small business community preferred.
- Graphic Design experience is a plus.
_______________________________________________________Other Qualifications:- Ability to function as a job coach for people with disabilities.
- Dependable, tact, resourcefulness, initiative, and good judgment.
- MDCH Direct Care Training or equivalent or complete training within 30 days.
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and maintain car insurance.
- May require lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Requires standing and/or walking for periods of time.
