Job Description

Pay Rate - $26.73

The Line Observer monitors conveyors, automatic inspection equipment, and case packers for obstructions to ensure they are operating properly and ensure lines are continuously supplied with cartons.

The LineObserver will:

  • Unjamlines, removeobstructions from conveyor, automatic inspection equipment, and case packerto maintain continuous processing of ware.
  • Monitor and perform frequency checks on bottle and carton coders, CMI's, carton printing, gluing bottle detectors, and discarddefective ware to cullet conveyor.
  • Empty and discard down ware and cullet in roll outpans.
  • Turns off equipment in case of malfunction and notifies supervisor or maintenance.
  • Hand pack as necessary or when case packer is malfunctioning and off-load filled cartons when full carton line is down.

The Line Observer should have:

  • Previous experience working in manufacturing or production.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule, with weekend and holiday requirements.
Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred
  • Shift: rotating 8 hour shifts
