Duration: 12 Months Contract with potential to extension

Pay rate: $17 -$18/Hour on W2, based on shift selected

Schedule / Shifts

Day Shift: Monday – Thursday: 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Overtime may be required on Fridays and/or Saturdays.

Evening / Night Shift: Monday – Thursday: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
Overtime may be required on Fridays and/or Saturdays.

Job Summary

  • The Assembly Associate is responsible for performing a variety of repetitive and detail-oriented production assembly tasks involving medium- and large-sized components, Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), and related metal or plastic components. The role may include slide-line assembly, pulling and organizing parts, silkscreen operations, stocking materials, module testing, and Post, Test & Final procedures.
  • Employees will be trained onsite on multiple assembly processes and are expected to follow established procedures, meet production schedules, and maintain quality and accuracy throughout the assembly process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform simple, repetitive assembly operations of medium- and large-sized components without the use of machinery.
  • Assemble Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and related metal or plastic components.
  • Perform slide-line and production assembly activities.
  • Pull, organize, and stage parts and materials for assembly.
  • Perform silkscreen and other production-related processes as assigned.
  • Put inventory and production stock away in designated areas.
  • Perform module testing and support Post, Test & Final procedures.
  • Learn and perform multiple assembly processes based on production requirements.
  • Follow established work instructions, quality procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Meet daily production schedules while maintaining required quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform other related production and assembly duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 years of manufacturing, production, assembly, or related work experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend English.
  • Basic math skills, including percentages, portions, and basic calculations.
  • Detail-oriented with good hand-eye coordination.
  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with small components.
  • Ability to learn and follow detailed assembly instructions and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a repetitive production environment.
  • Ability to meet production schedules and quality standards.
  • Soldering experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience working within a formal quality system is preferred.

Physical & Safety Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while performing assembly tasks.
  • May involve repetitive hand and assembly movements.
  • Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 35 lbs.
  • Employees may periodically handle approximately 3–4 boxes per hour for up to several hours, with work rotated throughout the shift.
  • Due to the precision required when handling small components, fingernails must be maintained at a practical length to ensure safe and accurate assembly.
  • Open-toe shoes are not permitted on the production floor.
  • Must follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.

Interview Process

The interview will be conducted in person.

Candidates may be required to complete an onsite assessment that can include:

  • Assembly test to evaluate quality and speed
  • Basic math assessment
  • Directions/instruction-following test
  • Evaluation of attention to detail and ability to follow assembly procedures

The assessment is intended to determine the candidate's ability to perform the essential assembly functions accurately and efficiently.

Work Environment
