We are seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Field Service Technician with strong, hands-on expertise in overhead crane service, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Candidates must have a minimum of 3–5 years of direct field service experience working specifically with overhead cranes, hoists, and related material-handling equipment. Candidates with more extensive experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform overhead crane inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance in the field.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical crane systems, including motors, brakes, controls, contactors, limit switches, festoon systems, and hoists.
- Complete emergency service repairs and identify the root cause of equipment failures.
- Perform crane and hoist maintenance to maximize equipment reliability, uptime, and safe operation.
- Provide professional field service support at customer locations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of direct overhead crane field service and repair experience required.
- Strong hands-on experience with overhead cranes, bridge cranes, hoists, and material-handling equipment.
- Proven ability in electrical troubleshooting, mechanical troubleshooting, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and equipment repair.
- Ability to independently diagnose crane problems and complete repairs in a field-service environment.
- Strong understanding of safe crane maintenance and service practices.
- Candidates with 5+ years of overhead crane experience are highly desirable.
