Duties and Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
- Offer detailed explanations and demonstrations of product features and benefits
- Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
- Manage financial transactions at the cash register and ensure accurate handling of cash and credit card information
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products, pricing, and promotions
- Assist in the stocking and organization of merchandise to ensure a clean and efficient shopping environment
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales targets
- Participate in marketing events and promotions to maximize brand visibility
- Handle customer issues and concerns in a manner that preserves the company’s reputation
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate, Sales Representative or similar role
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Proficiency in English
- Basic math skills
- Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements
- Track record of over-achieving sales quota
- Hands-on experience with POS transactions
- Familiarity with inventory procedures
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
- Availability to work flexible shifts
