The Junior Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records by performing day-to-day general accounting tasks such as entering cash receipts, vouchering accounts payable, processing bi-weekly payroll and miscellaneous other accounting duties as necessary, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, as well as providing essential support to the finance department.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Record daily deposits and maintenance of Accounts Receivable
- Assist Payroll Manager with all aspects of payroll processing.
- Troubleshooting to resolve discrepancies and other payroll issues.
- Maintenance of payroll schedules including but not limited to biweekly payroll, accrued insurance schedules, accrued salaries and vacation schedules
- Assist with the operations of Accounts Payable.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Timely completes annual trainings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- High School/GED required, college degree preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in accounting or related field
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Analysis and reporting of financial data
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skill
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
