Location: Fort Worth, TX ,Rockwall, TX
Contract: 15 Weeks
Shift: Night | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 3 Nights/Week
Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: $1,800 – $2,100/Week, based on experience
Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care.
Assess and monitor maternal and fetal conditions.
Monitor fetal heart rate, contractions, vital signs, and other clinical indicators.
Assist physicians and healthcare professionals during labor and delivery procedures.
Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments according to orders and facility protocols.
Recognize and promptly report changes in maternal or fetal condition.
Provide care for routine and high-risk labor and delivery patients.
Assist with emergency interventions and procedures.
Monitor postpartum patients for complications and provide appropriate care.
Educate and provide emotional support to patients and families.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and facility policies.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, neonatal staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Previous Labor & Delivery experience required.
Strong maternal and fetal assessment skills.
Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity L&D environment.
NRP certification required.
RNC certification preferred.
Must be available for weekends and holidays as needed.
Candidate must reside at least 100 miles from the facility.
Active driver's license required with submission.
