Job Description

Looking for a Pediatric Dentist who genuinely loves working with kids. If you're great at putting little ones at ease, take pride in gentle, kid-friendly care, and enjoy being part of a tight-knit group of dental pros, this could be a great fit. You'll help set kids up with healthy dental habits early on and give young patients care that's tailored just for them.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing comprehensive dental care to infants, children, and teens, including exams, cleanings, and preventive treatments
  • Diagnosing and treating pediatric-specific dental conditions, like early childhood caries and developmental issues
  • Performing procedures such as fillings, extractions, pulp therapy, and space maintainers as needed
  • Reviewing patient dental and medical histories to figure out the right treatment plan
  • Reading X-rays and other diagnostic images to check on oral health and development
  • Administering local anesthesia and, when needed, sedation, while keeping a close eye on patient comfort and safety
  • Helping parents and guardians understand good oral hygiene habits, nutrition, and preventive care for their kids
  • Creating a calm, welcoming space that helps ease dental anxiety for young patients
  • Teaming up with dental hygienists, assistants, and the rest of the crew to keep patient care running smoothly
  • Keeping treatment records accurate and current in the dental practice software
  • Following sterilization and infection control protocols to the letter
  • Keeping up with new techniques, materials, and best practices in pediatric dentistry

What We're Looking For

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree, plus completion of an accredited pediatric dentistry residency program
  • Active, valid dental license in good standing as required by the state of practice, with pediatric dentistry specialty certification where applicable
  • Strong clinical skills in pediatric procedures and behavior management techniques
  • Great communication skills with kids, parents, and coworkers alike
  • Patience, empathy, and a real knack for making dental visits a positive experience for young patients
  • Comfortable using dental practice software and diagnostic imaging systems
  • A professional approach to patient confidentiality and safety
  • CPR certification, as required

What You'll Get

  • A supportive, close-knit dental practice to grow with
  • The chance to work alongside experienced dental professionals
  • A varied patient caseload that keeps every day interesting
  • Plenty of room for professional growth and continued learning
  • A welcoming, team-oriented environment where you'll feel right at home
