Lead the Look and Safety of Our Texas Properties
As the Multi-Site Landscape Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll be the on-the-ground leader ensuring our commercial and company-owned locations across Texas look exceptional and operate safely. This is a hands-on role where you’ll split your time between the field and coordinationsetting schedules, guiding crews, and keeping systems running smoothly to deliver consistent curb appeal.
A Day in the Life
You start your morning reviewing the day’s route, then head into site walkschecking turf quality, beds, walkways, and parking areas. You confirm irrigation performance, assign priorities to crews, and coordinate with vendors for specialized work. Throughout the day, you monitor progress, verify safety practices, and update records so budgets and compliance stay on track.
What You’ll Own
- Operations across multiple Texas properties: Oversee landscape maintenance for commercial sites and company-owned locations.
- Quality and safety inspections: Conduct routine site reviews to confirm standards are met for appearance, safety, irrigation, and overall presentation.
- Seasonal and routine scheduling: Build and manage calendars for mowing, edging, trimming, irrigation, fertilization, weed control, and seasonal color.
- Exterior upkeep: Keep grounds, lots, walkways, and common areas clean, hazard-free, and welcoming.
- Irrigation oversight: Monitor system performance and coordinate timely repairs.
- Seasonal projects: Lead flower rotations, tree care, mulch applications, and storm-response cleanups.
Team Leadership
- Direct crews and contractors; assign daily tasks and track productivity.
- Coach, train, and provide performance feedback to build a safe, accountable culture.
- Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and on-the-job training.
Safety and Compliance
- Champion company safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure alignment with OSHA and environmental requirements.
- Run toolbox talks, perform equipment inspections, and keep accurate logs of incidents, repairs, and maintenance.
Budgeting and Vendor Coordination
- Support budgeting and cost control for landscape operations.
- Manage inventory for materials, tools, and equipment.
- Coordinate specialized services and repairs with vendors and contractors.
- Review invoices and verify work matches contract terms.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED; additional training in horticulture, landscaping, or facilities is a plus.
- 3–5 years of commercial landscape maintenance experience.
- Supervisory or crew lead background preferred.
- Working knowledge of irrigation, plant health, turf care, and landscape equipment.
- Organized communicator with strong problem-solving skills.
- Comfort managing shifting priorities across multiple sites.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile communication tools.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Physical and Work Conditions
- Outdoor work in varying weather.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safe operation of landscape equipment and vehicles.
- Primarily field-based across multiple commercial properties.
- Occasional evenings, weekends, or emergency response during severe weather.
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Experience managing vendors and contracts.
- Familiarity with irrigation scheduling and landscape management software.
