POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Designer to join our team! The designer will support project teams in creating engaging, functional, and sustainable environments for educational campuses and other institutional projects. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in developing conceptual designs, diagrams, presentations, and construction documents for landscape and site design projects.
  • Conduct site research and analysis, including review of topography, climate, and existing conditions.
  • Support the selection of materials, plantings, furnishings, and lighting for outdoor spaces.
  • Produce renderings, illustrations, and presentation boards for client and stakeholder meetings.
  • Collaborate with architects, landscape architects, engineers, and planners throughout the design process.
  • Assist with code and regulation research, permitting documentation, and submittals.
  • Participate in internal design reviews and contribute creative input to project development.
  • Conduct occasional site visits to support project implementation and construction observation.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from a LAAB-accredited institution required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Revit experience preferred.
  • Strong interest in sustainable design, educational environments, and the impact of outdoor spaces on the user experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Strong time-management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed for project requirements.

LOCATION

  • Ability to work on-stie in our Lexington, KY office
