Working onsite in Mooresville, NC, you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology.Own the architecture, integration, and reliability of all electrical, sensor, and data systems supporting Roush-Yates powered race engines across development, dynamometer, and race applications.
Responsibilities- Develop and validate electrical system architecture for engine development and race applications
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and technical compliance of electrical components
- Oversee production processing of electrical components, including lifecycle limits and issue resolution
- Support development and dyno testing by configuring required hardware and software systems
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, sensor, and signal integrity issues in dyno and vehicle environments
- Develop and apply new technology and instrumentation to improve system performance and reliability
- Support ECU integration including CAN configuration, sensor validation, and I/O implementation
- Submit engineering change orders and maintain documentation for new or modified components and processes
job qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5–10 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of internal combustion engine fundamentals and professional engine control systems
- Experience with motorsport data logging systems and CAN bus integration
- Proficiency with laboratory diagnostic equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, calibration tools)
- Ability to design and manufacture motorsport-type wiring harnesses
- High level of computer literacy (VBA, C/C++, LabView, or similar preferred)
Preferred:
- Experience with McLaren ECU systems and ATLAS
- Programming experience (Python, MATLAB, VBA, C/C++)

- Ability to work non-standard hours aligned with race schedules
- Ability to work in dyno and trackside environments
