Pay: $60,000 – $80,000/yr

About the Role

Prosper Communities is a growing real estate investment firm seeking an experienced Project Manager/Construction Manager to lead our expanding portfolio of multifamily construction and capital improvement projects. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help build our construction division you'll own projects from planning through delivery, ensuring they hit deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

What You'll Own

  • Manage capital and construction projects from initial scope and budgeting through bidding, contracting, execution, punch list, and closeout
  • Develop project schedules and timelines, and monitor progress to ensure on-time completion
  • Manage budgets, procurement, change orders, and vendor/subcontractor relationships
  • Direct Construction Superintendents and subcontractors on-site
  • Inspect work in progress, identify issues early, and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, safety standards, and contract terms
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to keep projects aligned
  • Manage documentation contracts, permits, drawings, specs, and reporting
  • Prepare progress reports, forecasts, and status updates for leadership
  • Resolve conflicts and negotiate solutions that keep projects moving

What You'll Bring

  • 3–5 years of multifamily or commercial construction management experience
  • Proven record of leading projects to completion on time and within budget
  • College degree and/or Construction Management training preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, blueprints, scheduling, and safety standards
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)
  • Self-directed, proactive, and strategic comfortable owning a project end to end
  • Clear communicator and active listener who works well across teams
  • Valid driver's license (required)

Schedule: 8-hour shift, full-time
Location: Must be able to commute to or relocate to Cincinnati, OH before start
