RestoreCore is seeking an experienced, hands-on Reconstruction Foreman to lead field operations for residential and commercial reconstruction projects following water, fire, mold, storm, and other property damage.
This is a working foreman position that combines job-site leadership with hands-on construction. The Reconstruction Foreman will coordinate technicians, subcontractors, materials, and daily production while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to the approved scope.
The ideal candidate has strong experience across multiple construction trades, can independently manage day-to-day job-site activities, and is willing to work alongside the team when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily field operations for residential and commercial reconstruction projects
- Review scopes of work, project plans, selections, and instructions provided by the Project Manager
- Coordinate Reconstruction Technicians, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and job-site access
- Assign daily responsibilities and ensure work remains on schedule
- Perform hands-on reconstruction work as needed, including carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, trim, and other repairs
- Monitor workmanship and confirm completed work meets company standards and approved project scopes
- Identify missing work, field discrepancies, material needs, and potential change orders
- Conduct job-site walkthroughs and provide progress updates to customers and Project Managers
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Ensure accurate timekeeping, photographs, notes, and job documentation within company systems, including DASH
- Receive, inspect, and manage job-site material deliveries
- Train and mentor Reconstruction Technicians
- Assist with permits, inspections, punch-list items, final walkthroughs, and project closeout
- Protect customer property and communicate professionally throughout the reconstruction process
- Follow all company safety policies and applicable OSHA requirements
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Construction Foreman, Reconstruction Foreman, Lead Carpenter, Site Supervisor, or similar field-leadership position
- Hands-on experience with multiple construction trades, including carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, trim, and general repairs
- Experience supervising employees and subcontractors
- Ability to read and follow scopes of work, construction plans, measurements, and project specifications
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, materials, job-site safety, and quality standards
- Ability to identify project concerns and communicate them promptly to the Project Manager
- Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable communicating directly with homeowners and commercial customers
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between assigned job sites
- Experience with insurance-related reconstruction or property restoration is strongly preferred

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and perform physical construction work throughout the day
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather and temperature conditions
- Ability to safely use ladders, hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
