Position Overview

MCIT Business Solutions is seeking a dependable, outgoing Part-Time B2B Field Appointment Setter to help introduce our company to local businesses and schedule qualified appointments for our sales team.

This is an in-person field position, not a remote or call-center role.

The primary responsibility will be visiting businesses in assigned Houston-area territories, introducing MCIT, identifying the appropriate technology decision-maker, gathering basic contact information, and scheduling follow-up appointments for our sales team.

This position does not require you to provide technical consulting, prepare quotes, or close sales. Your goal is to make a professional introduction, identify potential opportunities, and create meaningful appointments for the MCIT sales team.

Responsibilities

• Visit businesses in assigned Houston-area territories
• Professionally introduce MCIT Business Solutions
• Identify owners, managers, or other technology decision-makers
• Ask basic qualifying questions and identify potential technology needs
• Schedule qualified follow-up appointments for the MCIT sales team
• Accurately document company, contact, and appointment information
• Leave approved MCIT information with prospective customers
• Maintain organized records of businesses visited and follow-up activity
• Represent MCIT professionally and respectfully at all times

• Technology Projects – technology upgrades, moves, deployments, refreshes, and vendor coordination

The Appointment Setter's responsibility is to introduce MCIT and create opportunities for a conversation. Technical recommendations, pricing, proposals, and closing sales are handled by the MCIT sales and technical team.

Qualifications

• Comfortable walking into businesses and starting conversations with people you have not met
• Friendly, professional, and confident communication skills
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Organized and able to accurately document prospect information
• Comfortable hearing "no" and moving on to the next opportunity
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable personal transportation and current auto insurance
• Basic computer and smartphone skills
• Previous customer service, canvassing, appointment setting, lead generation, or B2B sales experience is helpful but not required
• Basic familiarity with business technology is helpful but not required

Schedule

Approximately 16–20 hours per week, primarily during normal weekday business hours.

This is a local field position requiring regular travel to businesses throughout assigned Houston-area territories.

Compensation

$15.00 per hour plus performance incentives for qualified appointments.

Mileage reimbursement is provided for approved business travel between assigned prospect locations.

Additional incentives are available based on qualified appointments scheduled and completed.
