Press Brake Operator Join a family-owned fabrication shop operating CNC press brakes and other metal fabrication equipment. This role is ideal for someone with fabrication experience who enjoys hands-on work, blueprint reading, and producing high-quality parts.

What You'll Do

  • Set up and operate CNC press brakes and fabrication equipment.
  • Read blueprints and work orders to produce metal parts.
  • Load materials and select proper tooling and dies.
  • Inspect finished parts using measuring tools.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance.
  • Stage, label, and track completed parts.
  • Support production goals and assist team members as needed.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of CNC fabrication or press brake experience.
  • Blueprint reading and measuring tool experience.
  • Knowledge of metal fabrication and forming processes.
  • Experience operating press brakes or similar equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with CNC job shops or fabrication environments.
  • Basic troubleshooting and setup knowledge.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with production tracking systems is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Inver Grove Heights, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
