Job Title: Material Controls AssociateJob Description

As a Material Controls Associate, you will lead a small team and manage all inventory, shipping, and receiving duties for both raw materials and finished or in-process components. Your role is crucial in meeting the requirements of the quality policy and quality objectives within the company's ISO 9001 and quality management system.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and perform inventory, shipping, and receiving duties.
  • Manage primary roles in Receiving, Shipping, Kan Ban/Build Kitting, or Stocking as assigned by the Material Control Manager.
  • Cross-train in secondary roles.
  • Receive and ship products following quality system documentation.
  • Ensure parts flow to manufacturing through build kitting and maintain organization.
  • Perform cycle counting as required.
  • Set up and maintain material quantities on the production floor.
  • Interact with Supervisors, Planners, Buyers, and other Material associates to ensure materials availability for production schedules.
  • Research, reconcile, and provide feedback on all inventory discrepancies.
  • Follow Quality System procedures.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills
  • 1-2 years’ experience in inventory control, shipping, and receiving in a medical manufacturing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to organize vast amounts of data with a high level of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and climb a ladder.
  • High School diploma or Associates Degree.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with UPS software, RF scanners, and pallet jacks.
  • Experience in a leadership role within inventory control or shipping/receiving.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
