HVAC/R Service Technician
$35–$50/hour DOE | Full-Time | Benefits
Intermountain Temperature Solutions is a growing commercial refrigeration and HVAC company looking for an experienced HVAC/R Service Technician to join our team.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, knowledgeable, coachable, and willing to continue learning. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial refrigeration experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and take pride in providing quality service to customers.
Responsibilities
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment
• Service walk-in coolers and freezers, undercounter refrigeration, ice machines, and other commercial refrigeration equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
• Communicate clearly with customers and office staff regarding repairs and recommendations
• Complete service documentation accurately
• Participate in the company on-call rotation
• Travel occasionally to service locations up to approximately 3 hours away
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of commercial refrigeration experience
• EPA 608 certification required
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience with walk-in coolers and freezers
• Experience with undercounter refrigeration
• Experience with commercial ice machines
• Rack refrigeration experience is a plus
• Dependable, motivated, and professional
• Willing to learn and expand technical skills
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Pay & Benefits
• $35–$50 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule & Travel
This is a full-time position. Technicians participate in an on-call rotation approximately every other week.
Occasional travel to service locations up to approximately 3 hours away is required. Drive time is paid.
