Brake Press Operator
Department: Stamping / Welding Division
Reports To: Production Supervisor/ Plant Manager
Must have experience with Bystronics, running and setting up programs based off of prints.
Summary
Works with all departments throughout the company to produce quality parts in order to meet
customer requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Operate presses.
2. Operate Fork Lift Trucks.
3. Interpret and respond to SPC control charts.
4. Complete production and quality paperwork.
5. Use appropriate gages, such as calipers and micrometers
6. Visually inspect production and quality problems.
7. Identify and report production and quality problems.
8. Participate in corrective and preventative actions and continuous improvement projects.
9. Use all safety aids and devices.
10. Report finished job and request new job.
11. Maintain clean work environment.
12. Other duties as assigned by Plant Superintendent
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma, or G.E.D. (Preferred)
Language Skills:
Ability to read and write English. Ability to understand verbal and written training material in
English.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Knowledge of basic math.
