Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to read and interpret shop drawings, produce accurate, high-quality components, and work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret shop drawings.
  • Set up and operate manufacturing equipment to produce accurate parts that meet quality standards.
  • Verify dimensions and inspect finished components for accuracy.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work pace while meeting production expectations.
  • Follow all company safety policies and operate equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with leads and team members.
  • Adapt to changing production schedules, priorities, and job assignments.
  • Maintain good housekeeping by keeping the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Handle materials, tools, and equipment properly to prevent damage and ensure safe operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with blueprint reading.
  • Experience operating CNC machines, press brakes, and various fabrication equipment.
  • Competency with Tube Laser, Flatbed Laser, CNC Plasma Cutting Machine, CNC Mill, Press Brake, Lathe, Drill Press, Automatic Bandsaw, Forklift, Ironworker, and Grinders.

Work Environment

The position is based in a shop environment, requiring previous experience in a machine shop or production shop.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Fresno, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
