ALIYA on 87th is seeking an experienced and dedicated Restorative Nurse to lead and oversee our restorative nursing program. As a key member of our team, you will ensure that residents achieve and maintain their highest level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being through structured restorative care.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage the restorative nursing program in accordance with state and federal regulations

• Assess residents for restorative needs and ensure appropriate programs are initiated and maintained

• Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to support individualized care plans

• Supervise and train restorative aides and nursing staff on restorative techniques and best practices

• Monitor resident progress and adjust restorative programs to maximize outcomes

• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation

• Support MDS assessments and care planning related to restorative services

• Conduct audits and ensure program compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards

• Maintain restorative equipment and ensure proper use and safety

• Promote resident independence and quality of life through consistent program oversight

Requirements:

• Active LPN or RN license required

• Previous experience in restorative nursing or rehabilitation in a SNF setting required

• Prior leadership or program management experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of restorative programs, MDS, and regulatory compliance

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to lead staff and collaborate across departments

• Compassionate, resident-focused approach
