Location: Dallas, TX

Salary: $135K-$150K; Bonus Eligible

Job Type: Full-Time | Exempt

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO

Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer / Architect to join a growing technology organization and play a foundational role in building its next generation of software solutions.

This is a unique opportunity to join a greenfield technology environment with very little legacy technology. Rather than maintaining outdated systems, you’ll have the opportunity to build new applications and solutions from the ground up, working closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, architect solutions, and bring those ideas to life.

You’ll operate in an entrepreneurial, startup-like environment where your ideas and technical decisions will have a direct impact on the organization’s technology strategy and future growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, architect, and develop new applications and technology solutions from the ground up.
  • Partner directly with business stakeholders and leadership to understand business needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Own projects across the full technology lifecycle, from initial strategy and architecture through hands-on development and implementation.
  • Serve as a hands-on technical leader who is comfortable getting into the code and working alongside development teams.
  • Help transform manual business processes into automated, scalable, and secure solutions.
  • Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Python, Django, JavaScript, SQL, and Azure.
  • Design solutions that integrate multiple enterprise systems and applications.
  • Establish and contribute to engineering standards, development best practices, and technical architecture.
  • Mentor and collaborate with other engineers as the technology organization continues to grow.
  • Work across technology disciplines and take a big-picture approach rather than operating within a single technical silo.
  • Help shape the future architecture, development practices, and technical direction of the organization.

Technical Environment

Core Technologies:

  • Python
  • Django
  • JavaScript / modern front-end libraries
  • Microsoft SQL
  • Microsoft Azure

Additional Experience:

  • Enterprise application architecture and development
  • Authentication, authorization, and role-based access control
  • Enterprise system integrations
  • Secure application design
  • Cloud-based application development

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer and architect who enjoys building rather than simply maintaining. You’re comfortable moving between high-level architecture conversations and writing code, and you enjoy working directly with business leaders to turn ideas into technology.

Experience building enterprise software from the ground up within healthcare, financial services, insurance, or another regulated industry is highly valued.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has strong full-stack software development experience.
  • Can think strategically while remaining hands-on technically.
  • Has experience designing scalable, secure enterprise applications.
  • Is comfortable working in an entrepreneurial or startup-like environment.
  • Enjoys solving complex business problems through technology.
  • Can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Is comfortable wearing multiple hats and helping shape a growing technology organization.
  • Enjoys mentoring engineers and contributing to a strong engineering culture.

Why This Opportunity?

This is an opportunity to join at an early and highly influential stage of the technology organization. You’ll have significant ownership, visibility, and the ability to help shape both the technology and the engineering culture as the organization grows.

If you enjoy greenfield development, architecture, hands-on engineering, and having a meaningful voice in technology strategy, this role offers the opportunity to build something rather than simply inherit it.
