Forklift Operator

We are seeking reliable and skilledForklift Operatorsto join our growing team in Ames, IA. In this role, you will operate motorized lift trucks to safely move, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This position requires working consistent 12-hour shifts (either entirely days or entirely nights) on a schedule where the specific working days rotate each week.

Pay Rate:$23.00 – $24.00 per hour
Schedule:12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) withrotating days of the week

Job Description:

• Operateforklifts safely to move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Loadand unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Stackand store goods in their designated warehouse locations.
• Verifyinventory counts and inspect products for damage.
• Maintaina clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Followall OSHA and company safety guidelines.

Requirements:

• Experience:Proven experience as a Forklift Operator (Certification preferred).
• Schedule Flexibility:Ability to work a 12-hour shift with days of the week that rotate.
• Physical Ability:Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and sit/stand for long periods.
• Skills:Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliability:Dependable transportation to our Ames facility and punctual attendance.
