Job Description

Oversee all operations at two food production facilities, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction are maintained. Establish and maintain a strong safety culture throughout the plant, ensure compliance with all safety regulations, proactively identify and mitigate hazards, and strive for zero recordable incidents. Lead by example in embracing safe work practices at every level.

• Oversee all quality assurance and food safety protocols.
• Ensure that all products meet or exceed company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Promote continuous improvement in food quality and safety programs.
• Manage plant budgets and expenses, driving cost-effective operations and resource utilization.
• Identify and implement productivity enhancements without compromising safety or quality.
• Monitor key metrics, analyze trends, and drive corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure uninterrupted, timely, and efficient supply of products to customers.
• Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and customer service teams to anticipate and resolve any bottlenecks or disruptions.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the plant workforce, fostering a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Identify growth opportunities and drive initiatives that boost morale and retention.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related fields)
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in the food manufacturing industry
• Proven track record in plant operations management
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and engage diverse teams
• Experience in change management, talent development, and performance management
• Proficient in English
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HAACP, GMP, ISO), safety regulations, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement tools
• Mechanical aptitude or experience

Work Environment

This position involves working both in a typical office environment and on the manufacturing floor, requiring a flexible approach to working conditions.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Mill, SC.

The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $170000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
