Metro Services is looking to immediately fill a 2nd Shift Batch Operator position for a Manufacturing facility in Manchester, TN. The Batch Operator is responsible for the blending of powders and liquids in the mixing department. This is a direct-hire or temp-to-hire position. Apply Now!
Duties for this position include:
- Blending batches of liquids and powders following batch-picking sheets
- Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met
- Work safely with chemicals with varying hazard ratings
- Pulling and organizing materials necessary to produce finished batches
- Perform inventory transactions in SYSPRO to ensure chemicals are allocated properly and inventory is accurate
- Safely operate a forklift to get the materials necessary to perform duties

Compensation (USD):
$20.00 - $22.00/hour depending on experience
Schedule:
2nd Shift
Monday - Thursday
4:00 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.
OT on Fridays and Saturdays when needed
Will train on 1st shift, then move to 2nd shift
Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Good listening and interpersonal communication skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- Safely operate a forklift
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Frequently lift and move items weighing up to 60 pounds
