Job Description

We are seeking a dependable General Construction Laborer to assist with a variety of construction, maintenance, and yard projects. This role is ideal for someone with basic construction experience who is eager to learn and be trained. The work will encompass both indoor and outdoor responsibilities, offering opportunities to develop skills across multiple trades.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction, maintenance, and yard projects.
• Operate hand and power tools effectively.
• Perform tasks related to drywall, painting, flooring, or tile.
• Adhere to safety procedures at all times.
• Work both indoors and outdoors, adapting to varying weather conditions.
• Maintain reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Engage in general labor tasks and assembly work.

Essential Skills

• Basic construction experience.
• Proficiency in using tape measures, hand tools, and power tools.
• Experience in drywall, painting, flooring, or tile work.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous construction experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and be trained.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work physically throughout the day.
• Dependable transportation and strong attendance record.

Work Environment

This position is based in a construction and industrial yard setting, involving a combination of indoor and outdoor work. It is a physical, hands-on role in a fast-paced environment with changing daily priorities. You will be exposed to weather conditions while working in the yard, and we maintain a safety-focused culture.

This is a Contract position based out of Kilgore, TX.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
