PC Technician - Computer Repair & Hardware Testing

Overview
Beyond Surplus is seeking aPC Repair & Testing Technicianto test, diagnose, repair, and prepare used computers and IT equipment for resale or recycling.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience withdesktops, laptops, computer hardware, diagnostics, and basic repairs. Responsibilities include testing equipment, identifying hardware issues, replacing components, verifying system functionality, recording test results, and maintaining productivity and quality standards.

This is ahands-on warehouse/technical positionfor someone who enjoys working with computers and troubleshooting hardware. Previous PC repair, refurbishment, IT hardware, or electronics experience is preferred.

Additional Duties

• Assist with evaluating the potential value of electronic equipment
• Accurately Sorting and Labeling a variety of equipment
• Pick and pack ecommerce orders accurately and efficiently
• Properly pack electronics using bubble wrap, peanuts, and protective materials
• Maintain order accuracy and productivity targets
• Follow instructions from warehouse leadership
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional work ethic

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least One Year of computer-testing-related experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to think critically
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (5+ hours per shift)
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and lift repetitively
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to read and understand instructions written in English
• Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime when needed

Work is performed entirely in a warehouse setting, where temperatures may vary from cool to hot. Energy drinks will be provided during the hotter months.
