Responsibilities:
- Assist patients in selecting eyewear, including frames, lenses, and specialty optical products
- Provide expert guidance on lens options, coatings, and upgrades to meet patient needs and lifestyle
- Process optical orders accurately and coordinate with lab and clinical staff
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals for optical products
- Build lasting patient relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
- Maintain an organized, visually appealing optical dispensary and frame inventory
- Stay current on the latest eyewear trends, lens technologies, and insurance billing practices
Requirements:
- Prior experience in optical sales, dispensing, or a related retail/healthcare environment preferred
- Knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and vision insurance plans
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a patient-first attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical retail setting
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus in the Miami market
- ABO certification or willingness to obtain preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
