About the Role: Our company is looking for a sharp and detail-driven
Senior Accountant to join our team in Walworth County, WI. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key financial role within a dynamic organization, where your expertise will directly impact business performance and growth. Responsibilities:- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Manage general ledger activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit preparation
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and filings
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- Minimum of 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- CPA designation or active pursuit strongly preferred
- Proficiency in SAGE 100 and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
