Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions and SQL Server databases. This role focuses on building efficient data pipelines, developing high-performance T-SQL solutions, ensuring data quality and integrity, and supporting data integration across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate has strong experience with SQL Server, ETL/ELT, C#/.NET, and cloud-based data solutions, along with a passion for continuous learning and solving complex data challenges. Healthcare payer experience is preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalabledata solutions, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data integration processesusing C#, .NET, SQL Server, and Azure.
  • Develop and maintainAzure Data Factory pipelinesfor data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and validation.
  • DevelopC#/.NET APIs, services, and data-processing componentsfor enterprise application and data integration.
  • Design, develop, and optimizeSQL Server databases, T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and indexes.
  • Implement data cleansing, validation, transformation, and quality processes to ensure reliable and accurate data.
  • Work withAzure SQL, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Web Apps, SSIS, and related Azure services.
  • Troubleshoot and optimizedatabase performance, data pipelines, APIs, and cloud workloads.
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, BI, and business teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
  • Evaluate existing data processes and recommendcloud modernization and performance improvements.
  • LeverageAI-assisted development toolsto improve engineering productivity and automate repetitive tasks.

Education & Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of experiencein data engineering, software development, or database development.
  • Strong experience withC#, .NET, SQL Server, T-SQL, and REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience withAzure Data Factory and Azure SQL.
  • Experience withETL/ELT, SSIS, data integration, data modeling, and data quality.
  • Experience withAzure Web Appsand cloud-based application/data solutions.
  • Strong SQL query optimization, database performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Healthcare payer experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
