Mountain Ltd. is seeking an Outside Plant Field Engineer to support a project in Northeast Michigan. This field-based position will focus on collecting and verifying information needed to support OSP engineering and design.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform field verification and data collection for OSP facilities.
- Verify pole locations and update inaccurate geographic locations.
- Conduct visual pole inspections and document visible structural concerns with photos and field notes.
- Verify grounding conditions and document broken or missing grounds.
- Evaluate attachment locations, spans, make-ready conditions, anchors, and down guys.
- Review underground routes for obstructions and document necessary route or feature changes.
- Verify service-point locations against actual field conditions.
- Accurately document field conditions and proposed changes for downstream engineering.
- Respond to field QC items and complete necessary corrections or updates.
