Position Summary
TheHumanResourcesManagerisresponsibleforleadingallHRfunctionsforamanufacturingfacility,servingasastrategicbusinesspartnertoplantleadershipwhileensuringcompliancewithfederal,state,andlocalemploymentlaws.Thisroleoverseesemployeerelations,recruiting,onboarding,performancemanagement,training,compensation,benefitsadministration,andworkforceplanninginafast-pacedautomotivemanufacturingenvironment.
KeyResponsibilities
- LeadallplantHRoperationsforhourlyandsalariedemployees.
- Partnerwithoperationsleadershiptosupportproductiongoalsandworkforceplanning.
- Managerecruitment,onboarding,orientation,andretentionprograms.
- Conductemployeeinvestigationsandresolveemployeerelationsissues.
- EnsurecompliancewithCalifornialaborlaws,wageandhourregulations,OSHArequirements,andcompanypolicies.
- Overseeleaveadministration,accommodations,workers’compensation,andunemploymentclaims.
- Supportperformancemanagement,correctiveaction,andemployeedevelopmentinitiatives.
- ManagetrainingprogramsandmaintainemployeerecordsandHRISsystems.
- Monitorturnover,absenteeism,staffinglevels,andotherHRmetrics.
- Leademployeeengagementandcultureinitiatives.
- Supportauditsandensurecompliancewithcompanyandcustomerrequirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’sdegreeinHumanResources,BusinessAdministration,orrelatedfield.
- 5–10yearsofprogressiveHRexperience,preferablyinmanufacturing,automotive,logistics,orindustrialenvironments.
- StrongknowledgeofCaliforniaemploymentlaw.
- Experiencewithemployeerelations,investigations,andperformancemanagement.
- Experiencesupportinghourlyproductionworkforcesandmultipleshifts.
- KnowledgeofHRISsystemssuchasADP,Workday,orSAP.
- SHRM-CP,SHRM-SCP,PHR,orSPHRcertificationpreferred.
- Excellentcommunication,leadership,andconflict-resolutionskills.
