Animal Caretaker

CR Ranch Pet-O-Tel is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and animal-loving Part-Time Kennel Attendant to join our team!

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes pride in providing excellent care for pets and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

• Part-time minimum 20 hours per week
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays
• Must be comfortable being on your feet and walking/standing for the majority of the workday
• Must be able to safely handle and work around small to extra-large dogs
• Must be comfortable caring for dogs, cats, and small animals
• Must be dependable, responsible, and able to follow directions
• Must be able to work effectively independently and as part of a team
• Must be a self-starter who can recognize and complete tasks without constant supervision
• Previous animal/pet-care experience is preferred but not required

• Provide daily care, attention, and supervision to boarding pets
• Feed and provide fresh water according to individual pet instructions
• Walk, exercise, and interact with dogs
• Provide appropriate care and attention to cats and small animals
• Clean and sanitize kennels, runs, play areas, and other pet-care areas
• Monitor pets for changes in behavior, appetite, or overall condition and report concerns to management
• Follow established safety, cleaning, feeding, and animal-care procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility
• Provide friendly and professional service to clients when needed
• Perform other general kennel and pet-care duties as assigned

We are looking for someone who is reliable, energetic, attentive, and genuinely enjoys working with animals. This is an active position that requires physical stamina, the ability to work in all types of weather, and a willingness to perform cleaning and hands-on animal-care duties.
