Overview

Job Title: Disposition Lead III
Location: Waterbury, CT
Job Type: Hourly Consultant
Hours: 40 per week (M-F, 8am – 5pm)
Pay: $25.00/hour

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as the onsite point of contact during Xerox implementations.

  • Lead Xerox carriers, third-party installation resources, analysts, and trainers.

  • Coordinate equipment delivery, placement, installation, moves, and removal according to approved future-state designs.

  • Ensure devices are properly configured, tested, networked, and asset tagged.

  • Collect and maintain asset data, including make, model, serial number, MAC address, IP address, and location.

  • Coordinate asset disposition and ensure removed equipment is disconnected from the client network and properly staged.

  • Communicate onsite progress, issues, and exceptions to the Implementation Manager/Coordinator.

  • Extensive travel throughout the U.S. and occasional weekend travel required. Must be able to walk extensively and lift up to 50 lbs.

Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, negotiation, and leadership skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

  • Knowledge of printer, copier, fax, scanner, and multifunction device configurations.

  • Understanding of networking protocols and print system requirements.

  • Strong customer-facing and communication skills.

  • Ability to program/configure printers and MFDs and identify/report exceptions.

  • Ability to manage changing priorities and contribute effectively to project teams.

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of technical service experience.

  • Experience supporting equipment implementations, installations, moves, or asset disposition preferred.

  • Ability to travel to customer sites for several consecutive weeks.

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • A+ and Network+ (N+) certifications required.

  • Bachelor's degree and MCSE, CNE, or other technical certification preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
